Marc Landon Christian Academy exists because of a young man who refused to give up — even when the odds were against him. Marcus (Marc) Landon was first diagnosed with cancer as a teenager, a battle that would have broken most people. He fought, he recovered, and he pressed forward with a passion for life and a heart for others that left everyone who knew him changed.
When cancer returned in 2022, Marcus did not retreat. He poured himself into the things he believed in deeply. Born gifted and talented in many areas, he had a profound love for music — writing songs across every genre and crafting beats with a creativity that came naturally to him. Even through illness, that gift never dimmed. All the while, he worked side by side with his mother in the family's daycare, and when the future of that ministry was uncertain, it was Marcus who stepped in with quiet conviction and said, "Let's open the school." He worked relentlessly on its development — planning, encouraging, pushing forward — with the same determination that had carried him through every hard season of his life.
On May 31, 2024, Marcus went home to be with the Lord. He was young, but the mark he left was immeasurable. He touched the lives of everyone around him — students, families, and community members alike — with his warmth, his faith, and his tireless belief that education could change lives.
In his honor, the school bears his name: Marc Landon Christian Academy. Every student who walks through these doors, every lesson taught, every life shaped — it is all a living tribute to a son, a brother, a dreamer, and a servant of God who gave everything he had to make this place a reality.
His legacy lives on in every child we serve.

At Marc Landon Christian Academy, we believe that all truth is God's truth. Education is not merely the transfer of information — it is the formation of a person. Every subject, from mathematics to literature to science, reflects the order, beauty, and creativity of a sovereign God. We teach students not only what to think, but how to think — with discernment, humility, and a biblical lens that makes sense of the world around them.
The Whole Child
We are committed to developing the whole child — spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Academic achievement matters deeply to us, but it is never the finish line. We want students to graduate not only prepared for college, but prepared for life: equipped with strong character, a servant's heart, and an unshakeable faith that carries them through every season. We partner closely with families because we believe parents are the primary educators of their children, and the school's role is to come alongside them.

We hold our students to high standards because we believe excellence honors God. Colossians 3:23 calls us to work "heartily, as for the Lord," and that principle shapes our classrooms. Statement of Faith
Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God — the supreme and final authority for all faith, doctrine, and practice.
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, each distinct in person.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and glorious return.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Every person is born in sin and in need of redemption, freely given to all who repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, indwells every believer, and empowers the Church for worship, witness, and service.
The Church
We believe in the universal Church — the body of Christ — composed of all who have been redeemed by His blood. We affirm the Great Commission as the mandate of the Church and the calling of every believer.
Christian Living
We believe that all who are born again are called to live holy, Spirit-filled lives that glorify God — demonstrating love, integrity, and servant leadership in every sphere of society.
