Our Admissions Philosophy

MLCA welcomes students from families who are committed to a Christian education and who agree to support the school's mission, values, and policies. Enrollment is open to students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies.

Admissions Process

Submit Application

Complete the MLCA enrollment application with student and family information.

Submit Documents

Provide all required enrollment documents including transcripts, immunization records, and signed agreements.

Placement Assessment

Students complete the MLCA Student Placement Diagnostic to ensure proper grade-level placement.

Family Interview

Meet with our admissions team and principal to discuss your family's goals and MLCA's expectations.

Enrollment & Welcome

Receive your acceptance, complete enrollment paperwork, and pay the enrollment fee to secure your student's spot.

Application Requirements

  • Previous school records / transcripts — Grades 1–12
  • Standardized test scores (if available) — Grades 3–12
  • Signed Parent/Student Handbook Agreement — All students
  • Signed Statement of Faith Agreement — All families
  • Non-refundable enrollment fee — All students
Admission Criteria
  • Family commitment to MLCA's Statement of Faith and Christian mission
  • At least one parent or guardian must be a professing Christian
  • Student willingness to abide by all school policies and Code of Conduct
  • Satisfactory review of prior academic records
  • Successful completion of the MLCA Student Placement Diagnostic
  • Successful family interview with school leadership
  • Space availability in the desired grade level
  • Commitment to parent involvement and volunteer hours

Enrollment Agreement

Enrollment at MLCA constitutes an agreement by the family to abide by all policies, procedures, and standards set forth in the Student & Parent Handbook. The school reserves the right to decline or discontinue enrollment for any student whose conduct — or whose family's conduct — is inconsistent with the school's mission and values.

New Student Orientation

September 4, 2026 — Orientation for new students and families

First Day of School

September 8, 2026 — First day of classes for all students

* Annual tuition includes all MLCA curriculum materials (textbooks, workbooks), chapel participation, and access to all school programs. Parents do not need to purchase textbooks separately.

Payment Plans

Annual Plan

Full tuition paid at enrollment — most cost-effective option

10-Month Plan

Tuition divided into 10 equal monthly payments (August – May)

Semi-Monthly Plan

Payments due on the 1st and 15th of each month throughout the school year

A late fee applies to payments not received by the due date. Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact the administration office promptly and confidentially.

Financial Assistance & Scholarships

MLCA is committed to making Christian education accessible to every family. Need-based financial assistance is available for qualifying families. We also offer two named scholarships:

  • True Vision Church Scholarship — Partial tuition assistance for qualifying families connected to True Vision Church
  • Marcus Clarence Landon Jr. Scholarship — Full annual tuition for students in Grades 2–12 demonstrating exceptional musical talent or gifted & talented qualification
  • Need-Based Financial Assistance — Income-based tuition reduction for qualifying families. All inquiries are handled confidentially.
